Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Georgetown – Sun City meets every Tuesday at noon, generally at the Sun City Social Center (small section of the ballroom). However, be sure to check our website for “exceptions” to meeting location and/or time. You are invited to be our guest for a great meal followed by an interesting program. We currently have 55 members dedicated to community service, friendship and “making-a-difference” in the lives of youth in this area as well as supporting the global objectives of Rotary International. Our Club is one of the 57 Rotary Clubs in District 5870.
Our key activities for Rotary Year 2018-19 will include continued sponsorship of EarlyAct FirstKnight® at both the Elementary and Intermediate schools in Jarrell ISD as well as an Interact Club at Jarrell High School, partnering with the Sun City Community Association for their annual Arts & Crafts Fair followed by our Club’s 18th Annual “Breakfast with Santa” in December which provides Christmas support to needy families and teenagers.
