Northpoint Fitness Center

The Northpoint Fitness Center will have a Soft Opening on Wednesday, June 14 at 6:30 a.m. and will follow the same operating hours and check-in procedures as the other three fitness centers. Click here to view fitness center hours >>

 

We appreciate your patience and are excited to share this new high-class amenity with you; however, we are still waiting on some equipment deliveries, repairs, and a few replacement items. Workouts might be disrupted from time to time while equipment is getting delivered or machines are getting repaired. Please see the below dates of what to expect in the next few weeks:

 

  • Wednesday, June 14 Soft Opening, No Kids Swim and No Weekend afterhours.
  • Monday, June 19, Weekend afterhours and Kids Swim start. Click here for hours and rules >>
  • Monday, June 19 to Friday, June 23 all classes offered at Northpoint Fitness Center will be FREE – information about classes will be provided in the Sunday, June 18 Fitness Communicator.
  • Monday, June 26 the full group fitness schedule will start at Northpoint Fitness Center.
  • Thursday, June 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. a Grand Opening Celebration will be held – More details to come!

The next edition of the Sun City Texas Resource Guide & Directory will be delivered to your mailbox next month!

What do I do with my old Directory?

 

Once your new Directory arrives, please deposit your old Directory in the blue bin located across from the tennis courts at 2 Texas Dr. The Community Association shreds these books to protect your privacy.

 

Remember, the blue bin is only to be used for disposal of old Sun City Texas Resident Directories.

Parking Permits – No Overnight Security

 

Residents can get a parking permit for overnight parking for their RVs, Trailers, and cars at The Oaks at 301 Del Webb Blvd., Legacy Hills Park Pavilion at 200 Del Webb Blvd. or Cowan Creek Amenity Center at 1433 Cool Spring Way. Residents are required to secure a parking permit at any monitor desk at the four amenity centers. Lately there have been reports of stolen items from RVs and trailers when the vehicles are parked in the above lots overnight. All reports have been made to the police, but we want to remind you that there is not overnight security at any of the parking lots.

Golf Course Walking



Walking between the hours of

4 p.m. and sunset is only allowed on the following specified golf courses and dates:

 

Monday, June 12 - White Wing

Monday, June 19 - Legacy Hills

Monday, June 26 - NO WALKING

Golf Course Walking Rules



  • Walking ONLY.
  • Residents and resident guests ONLY.
  • Resident guests must be accompanied by a resident.
  • No bicycles or golf carts.
  • Pedestrians must stay on the cart path.
  • Residents must carry CA issued resident badge or driver’s license.
  • Pets must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet.

City of Georgetown - Juneteenth Events and Closures

 

The Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association will celebrate Juneteenth with two events June 16-17. More details are available here >>

 

City of Georgetown offices will be closed Monday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. There will be normal solid waste and recycling collection on June 19.

ROAD CLOSURE: CR 245

 

CR 245 is now closed to thru-traffic. This closure will be in place for 180 calendar days to construct a bridge across Cowan Creek. The roadway is closed between Smokestack Lane and Harford Road.

Blood donors in May will receive:

  • Free limited-edition belt bag: Central Texas Blood Donor
  • Free blood-type testing

 

Appointments are highly encouraged; walk-ins will be accepted as space allows. Schedule your appointment at BSWBLOOD.COM or call 877-724-4376. A Photo ID is required to donate. All donors 18 or younger are required to show proof of age. Masks are recommended (not required) to be worn during your appointment.
