Golf Carts and Grandkids:

Just Say NO!

Grandchildren will be in our community during the summer and there will be a temptation to allow them to drive a golf cart. It is against the law and extremely dangerous for anyone under the age of 16 and/or anyone without a driver’s license to drive a golf cart. Please, DO NOT let grandkids get behind the wheel; Georgetown police officers may issue you a ticket.

It's Heating Up: Keep your dogs safe this summer!

Dogs do not sweat! They can only cool themselves by panting. Leaving dogs in hot cars is especially life threatening to them. Even if the windows are cracked, never leave your dogs behind in the car.

Safety first! Dogs must be on a leash at all times when walking in neighborhoods and on Sun City Community Association trails. And remember, always clean up after you dogs.

Pads on a dog's paw do not offer enough protection when it's over 90 degrees outside. If you cannot walk barefoot on the cement or asphalt, your dog's paws will hurt too.
