From the outside, these churches look like many 19th century places of worship. But on the inside, they are embellished with thousands of stars outlined in gold leaf, angels against soft pink hues, exquisitely carved altars and gorgeous statues. Our step-on docent will enchant you with each church's history and building. After touring two of the churches, we will enjoy lunch at Oakridge Smokehouse in Schulenburg where they specialize in old-fashioned country cooking. Your buffet includes several entrees, salad, veggies, dessert and ice tea or coffee. Following lunch, we travel to the final two churches. On the way going and returning, we will make stops at Buc-ee's. Note: Be prepared to get on and off the bus numerous times. Ticket includes transportation, guided tour of the churches and lunch.
