Today it's all about the gals!  Our Women in Texas History adventure begins at the State Capitol with a private tour that will introduce us to the women who helped settle Texas and guided our state into a bright and promising future.  Some are well-known like Barbara Jordan and Ann Richards, while others have made their stamp on history behind the scenes.

Next, it's lunch on your own at the Capitol Grille followed by two special exhibits at the Bob Bullock History Museum - Fashion Forward and Sister Suffragists.  Browse through fashion pieces representing Christian Dior, Anne Klein and Geoffrey Beene as you explore the role of Texas in the fashion innovations of yesterday and how they affect what we wear today.  Then, step into your sister's shoes to journey through the historical accounts of a movement that brought suffrage to the women of Texas and our nation.

Ticket includes transportation and tour fees. Maximum tickets: 38
