Join us as we head out to Bastrop, "the most historic small town in Texas," for an afternoon of exploration along its charming Main Street. Enjoy boutiques, galleries, antique shops and specialty restaurants snuggled into 19th-century buildings and decked out in seasonal finery. When the sun sets, prepare to jam out in jingle bell style as Bastrop's fanciful, fantastic, fun—and even famous—annual Lost Pines Christmas Parade comes to town! Featuring more than 100 entries from lighted parade floats to that jolly old elf Santa Claus, the parade will make its way down Main Street, stepping in time to marching bands playing festive Christmas tunes. Following the parade, take a stroll through the half-mile Walkway of Lights along the Colorado River and let your senses wrap you in a velvety fog of shimmering lights, hot cocoa and the incredible richness of the Christmas season!
