Photo Traveler SIG
Community Association
Marsha Larrabee, Coordinator [email protected]
The Photo Traveler SIG's goal is to allow members to explore the genre of travel photography. Travel Photos, as defined by the Photographic Society of America (PSA), seek to capture the essence of a culture, landscape, cityscape, or custom of a place in a way that enables the viewer to experience the scene virtually through the photograph. The image should represent the scene in its natural state as the photographer saw it.
Our monthly SIG meetings are a combination of a section for "comment and critique" and a section for "simply sharing" travel photos. When time allows, an informational video or article may be included. There may be monthly challenges focused on the various Travel Photography themes.
