POKER FACES
The Poker Club held a Texas Hold’em
No Limit tournament on May 9 with 40
members participating in the event.
Congratulations to Cap Pedigo for win-
ning the tournament with Randall Goss
placing second, Mickey Horn placing
third, Don Howard placing fourth and
Rich Morris placing fifth. Other winners:

To create a sense of spaciousness in a
small space they used similar, neutral
colors for the hardscape and mulch.
Then they limited the size and number
of plants. Today, a covered patio takes
up most of the back yard. Two crepe
myrtles and a Texas red oak, mulched
with river rock, complete the back land-
scape. A flagstone walkway traverses
the principal side yard, connecting the
patio to the front walkway. River rock,
lightly planted with red yucca and so-
ciety garlic, covers the remaining side
area and continues into the front yard,
ending at a small patch of grass and
