IT’S THAT TIME
It is not unusual to see newborn
fawns in late spring. Often it
appears as though fawns are
“orphaned,” when in fact they
are fine and have been hidden
by their mothers. Wildlife experts
agree it is best to leave the baby
deer alone. Most of the time, the
mother is close by and will return
to her fawn.

Recently, N31 held a Cajun-themed party attended by 95 residents. The party was hosted by Block 1 captain John
Costello and wife Antoinette, and assistant block captain Bob Freeman and wife Faye. Pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw,
crawfish, corn, potatoes, onions and beverages were served. The Happy Feet Cloggers performed, games were played
and zydeco music rocked the Legacy Hills Pavilion. Above, Bob and Faye Freeman tend to the pulled pork.
