The Sun City Stained Glass Club wel-
comes visitors to stop by the studio week-
days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We will show
you around and explain what goes into
working with glass as an art medium.
Much of the members’ art work is for sale
and you may even find a piece of original
art work with your name on it that will fit
in that perfect spot in your home.
The Orientation to Stained Glass class is
available to those interested. It is a pre-
requisite to joining the Stained Glass Club on September 26 will be Plus Level.

July and October. The class covers the
copper foil method of stained glass. Class

The annual meeting will be held on No-
vember 15 in the Florence Room at CCAC.

The purpose of the club is to produce two
variety holiday shows a year by finding
new and different talent and introducing
them to Sun City.
This is a fun group of people who enjoy
getting involved with putting on a show
with very limited rehearsals. Member-
ship is $10 annually with a yearly meet-
ing in January. We just produced a very
successful July show, “Sun City Salutes
America” on July 2. Our next show will
be in November.

evenings and round dance on most
Sunday evenings. All square and round
dancers are welcome to come and join in
the fun. The club dress code is casual.

The Sun City Table Tennis Club plays
leagues (we offer Women’s, Men’s and
renovation of Cowan Creek, regular club
sponsor two weekend tournaments each
and Sunday. Play on other days and times
continues to be an option if the Salado
Room has not been scheduled for use by
another group (check with the Cowan
Creek monitor or at the Sun City Texas
website). Two tables are now available for
play in the Cowan Creek Pavilion. Balls
and tables are in the closet of the Salado
Room and paddles are in the cabinet.

Table Tennis is a sport which can be
played at the beginner or at the Olympic
level—playing exercises both your brain
and body and puts a smile on your face.
There is a ladies group, a men’s group,
mixed play and singles and doubles. There
is a yearly social/new member meeting,
four Board meetings per year and an an-
nual membership meeting. The club offers
members, at no additional cost, beginner
and intermediate clinics and use of a robot
for practice! Check the website for addi-
tional events, meetings, clinics, socials and
photos! Yearly dues are $10 per person.
We are a friendly group where everyone
is supported and encouraged. We invite
you to become a member of the Sun City
Table Tennis Club.

Tennis at Sun City is for all playing sched-
ules and all skill levels. Whether you’re
just restarting tennis or an active USTA
player, join in and let’s play some tennis!
To reserve a court with your friends, come

with no partners, no levels and a friendly

like-minded (similar skills, schedules, etc.)

ciation (SCTTA) and participate in our
