Next, we will head to Spice Village, located in the 100 year-old
Waco Hardware building. With over 90 shops occupying 30,000
square feet, you will find gifts for any occasion, clothing, jewelry,
vintage finds and home décor. Lunch is on your own at a selection
of wonderful restaurants in close proximity.
The full size bus will have plenty of storage for any purchases.

Think that you of art with the beauty of landscape. Surrounded by 120 acres of

‘must see’ list! Visit three unique parts of
Arkansas, the Natural State, plus a visit to the
Oklahoma Memorial and Museum, dedicated to those victims,
survivors and rescuers affected by the Oklahoma City bombing
on April 19, 1995.
Wednesday - Travel day with several rest stops. Morning stop
around 9 a.m. Lunch on your own at Cracker Barrel in Greenville.
Afternoon stop in Texarkana. Dinner on your own in Conway.
Stay the night at Super 8 Motel.
Thursday – Breakfast included at Super 8 Motel. Our day
begins touring Blanchard Springs Caverns. Always a thrilling
experience to enter the world of the underground, we will be led
by a knowledgeable Forest Service Guide over the Dripstone
Trail. An easy walk with seating areas along the way, the 4/10
mile, hour-long tour winds through water-carved passages,
including an underground river and the world’s largest flowstone.
Temperature will be 58 degrees with humidity close to 100%,
so bring a sweater or jacket. There are 50 stair steps to be
negotiated but to avoid steps, there are alternate trails. Bats
are rare so don’t worry about running into them; however, you
will see tiny cave creatures such as salamanders and crickets.
View nearly every type of calcite formation found in limestone
caves. Tour includes the two major rooms in the upper level of
the cavern system.
Following a picnic lunch (included) we go to the Ozark Folk
Center State Park. “A Wonderful Way to Enjoy Yesterday” is an

adventure in yesterday’s Ozark Mountain way of life that you can
see, touch and enjoy today. See blacksmithing, pottery-making
and over 18 other pioneer skills and crafts. Learn to play the
dulcimer or autoharp, jig dance or grow an organic herb garden.

Enjoy country cooking for dinner at the Skillet Restaurant
(included); tap your toes to mountain music at our private concert
in the beautiful Ozarks this evening; and spend the night in the
comfortable Ozark Cabins at Dry Creek
Friday – Breakfast (included) at Dry Creek Lodge. Today we
travel to Eureka Springs, the Victorian mountain village. We
begin with a tour of Thorncrown Chapel, followed by time for
shopping and lunch on your own. After lunch enjoy an open-air
tram tour, operated by the City of Eureka Springs and featuring
an experienced local guide. In the evening we will attend the
famous Great Passion Play and have dinner there. The Great
Passion Play reenacts the last few days of Christ’s mortal life
on earth portrayed with a dramatic cast of hundreds and live
animals, donkeys, camel, sheep and more. Tonight we stay at
the Regency Inn.
Saturday – Breakfast included at Regency Inn. This morning
we travel one hour to Bentonville. Famous as the home of the
Waltons of Walmart fame, Bentonville is now equally famous
for being the home of Crystal Bridges Museum of American
Art. The museum explores the unfolding story of America and
celebrates the American spirit in a setting that unites the power
forests, garden sculpture and walking trails, Crystal Bridges
is named for Crystal Creek which feed the ponds nestling the
museum designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.
It is said to be the new museum of this century.
Sunday - Travel to Oklahoma City and visit the Memorial and
Museum dedicated to the 1995 bombing in this city. We will
stay overnight at the historic Skirvin Hilton Inn in downtown
Oklahoma City.
Monday – Breakfast is in your own. This ends our Ozark
adventure as we drive back home to Sun City.
