Sun City’s advisory committees need your help! These
committees assist and advise with the governance of Sun City.
Your experience and knowledge can help keep our community
a great place to live.

Look for applications at the Social Center and Cowan Creek
monitor desks, Activities Center, Texas Drive Fitness Center
and on the Nominating Committee website. Applications must
be turned in to the Member Services Office by 4 p.m. on Friday,
Sept. 11. The Nominating Committee will hold interviews the
week of Oct. 12.

As of early August, there were 19 openings on 10 committees
as follows:

   • Communications (1)
   • Elections (3)
   • Emergency Management (2)
   • Finance (1)
   • Golf (3)
   • Landscaped Maintained Homes (3)
   • Modifications (2)
   • Property and Grounds (2)
   • Sports (1)
   • Wildlife (1)

You can learn more about the responsibilities of each committee
and its members on the Nominating Committee’s website
under Fall 2015 Committee Openings. You can also visit
each committee’s website and attend their monthly meetings
(listed on page 6 of the Sun Rays) for more information. In
the spring, there was an outstanding group of applicants to
serve on committees; so if you previously applied and were not
selected by the CA Board, please do not hesitate to try again.

Please consider volunteering your time and talents for the
benefit of Sun City Texas.
