My Summer Vacation
“My wife Kathy and I did a five-day bicycle ride along
the Mosel River in Germany this June.
We saw many swans along the 217 kilometer ride.
But, this picture fully affirms the ‘Ugly Duckling’
story. You can almost hear the little swan saying
‘Mommy, will I ever be beautiful like you?’”

went to Kauai, Hawaii , to celebrate June’s 70th
birthday. The clan is pictured at Wiamea Canyon,
the “Grand Canyon of Hawaii.”
