March brings to us our first major
tournament of the year and this year’s
Member/Member, scheduled for March
26-27, will also bring us our next step
into the digital world of the 21st century.
Watch for an e-blast with further tour-
nament details. I think you’ll like this
new process!
ELECTRONIC EVENT REGISTRATION
In 2014, we will start to use our Elec-
tronic Event Registration (EER) pro-
gram to sign up for our five major tour-
naments and our Wednesday Playdays,
which means that all event registrations
will be done via the EER link labeled
“Members Only” on the MGA website.
You only need to select 18-Hole or 9-Hole
registration and follow the prompts. Now,
you can sign up as a Two-Man Team or
as an individual looking for a partner.
Entry fees will be deducted from your
MGA Pre-Paid account.
So, what does this mean for you?
Conve-
nience
. No more trips to the Golf Shop
to pick up an entry form. No more checks
to be: 1) written; 2) held for up to six
weeks; 3) lost; or 4) returned to you if
your plans change and you or your part-
ner need to drop out of an event once you
are registered.
Remember: Whether you hit ’em long
and straight or short and crooked, hit
’em quick! Everyone behind you will
appreciate it and enjoy the game more.
