Another Rotary year is underway under
the leadership of President John Che-
noweth, President-elect Bob Weimer,
and Vice-President Bob Elam. Meetings
consist of lunch, announcements and a
short program. Our July fundraiser, Sum-
mer Fest, was a huge success thanks to
the many who attended. Money earned
from the auctions and ticket sales will
be used to fund projects for local groups
in Georgetown. Many organizations in
our area have needs, and Rotarians give
freely their time and financial assistance
to make a difference.

Anglican Worship
Christ Church Sun City invites everyone
interested in worshiping Jesus Christ in
a relaxed yet traditional service to join us
each Sunday at 10 a.m. at The Oaks, 301
Del Webb. Our Book of Common Prayer
worship includes Biblical proclamation,
joyful celebration and Holy Communion
every Sunday. At Christ Church no one
stands alone. Christ Church also hosts

Catholic Rosary/Dinner
A group of Sun City Catholics meets once
a month in each others’ homes. Pot-luck
dinner is followed by the Rosary and fel-
lowship. There are currently two groups
involved. All Catholics – couples or singles

Neighborhood Discussion
Wednesday mornings, 10 a.m.
After a summer hiatus, theWiseWomen
discussion group will resume its meeting
every Wednesday beginning September
11 at 10 a.m. at 103 Montley Trail. Using
tapes by Richard Rohr, OSF, and printed
material, the discussion will focus on the
teachings of St. Francis of Assisi, his love
of creation and his acceptance of all. Vari-
ous meditation methods will be explored.
Each participant will reflect on their per-
sonal search for meaning in these chaotic
times. All―believers, non-believers and
