Two flu shot clinics scheduled The Sun City Emergency Management Committee will host two flu shot clinics in the Social Center Ballroom. Both clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on these dates: Wednesday, Sept. 30 for residents with an address ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8; and Thursday, Oct. 15 for residents with an address ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. All COVID-19 precautions will be enforced. Masks are required. Check the CA Communicator for locations where vaccine consent forms will be available starting Wednesday, Sept. 16. As a time saver, a form to complete and bring to the clinic. Walgreens/immunizations Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) - Informed Consent for Vaccine Also bring your Medicare or insurance card to the clinic. Medicare and most insurance will cover the cost of the flu shot. Walgreens will submit insurance forms. Both standard and high dose flu vaccines will be available.
