Fredericksburg Theater presents Dear Jack, Dear Louise, a joyous, heartwarming story by Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig. Modeled after his own parents and their courtship, it's a tale of true love that endured in the face of tremendous obstacles. Our story begins when two strangers meet by letter during World War II. Louise, an aspiring Broadway actress, and Jack, a doctor stationed at an Army base in Oregon. A lengthy written correspondence plays out before they ever meet in person and the ending… well, let's just say, this romantic comedy is sure to have you rooting for the Army medic and the aspiring showgirl.
