The Dallas Arboretum Thursday, March 20, 7AM-7PM The Dallas Arboretum is considered one of the top arboretums in the world. Named by Southern Living as one of 'The Best Places to See Stunning Spring Blooms Across the South," it is located on 66 acres that include over 20 specialty gardens! Our visit will coincide with their annual "Dallas Blooms" festival which showcases 500,000 spring blooming bulbs, representing 120 varieties, with a breathtaking display of 350,000 tulips and a mix of hyacinths and daffodils. WHERE: 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218 About:https://www.dallasarboretum.org/ Transportation: For this special trip we will have a private motor coach! Cost will be $40 per person with size limited to the first 40 people-guests and spouses are welcome. Payment made out to: SCTXCA – Cash also accepted. CAR POOLING: If you plan to drive yourself you can organize possible carpooling. FOOD: There are five different dining venues ranging from quick bites to an Afternoon Tea service. Bringing your own picnic basket is allowed for those who want to enjoy a picnic in a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere.
