Join the Sun City Nature club's birding SIG leader Martin Byhower on a trip to Murphys Park in Taylor, Tx. The park has a large rookery and this is the time of year to catch sight of the young fledglings.While we're getting great photos, Martin will give us information about the birds we're seeing. The group will meet at the Sun City Social Center parking lot in front of the tennis courts, arrange car pools and leave at 7:00 am. Best photography light will generally gone by 10:30 so we should be back to Sun City by noon. Bring your gear, including a tripod, water, warm jacket and a camp chair, if you wish, and meet in the parking lot. See you there. |
