CLASS: LOW FIRE GLAZES COST: $10 (payable at sign up unless waitlisted) INSTRUCTOR: Pam Wilcox MAX STUDENTS: 10 DATES: March 19 & 26 (Thursdays) PREREQUISITES: None CLASS DESCRIPTION: Learn to create special effects with low fire glazes. During the second class you will share your results and discuss what worked and what didn't. TOOLS & SUPPLIES NEEDED: All glazes will be provided. Students must bring 2 or 3 pieces of bisque-ware – with at least ONE vertical piece. May be any type of clay. The intent is to fire all pieces at low fire temperature. Firing at a higher mid-fire temperature is likely to change the expected results. |
