Depart SCPL 4:45 p.m.; return 8:30 p.m. Tickets for this event go on sale on Friday, Sept. 1 @ 8 a.m. Christmas is the best time of the year, and thousands of twinkling, colorful lights are special to the season. The Belton Lake outdoor recreational area (BLORA) presents its annual Nature in Lights display to usher in the holidays. It takes four months of work to put together over a hundred holiday inspired and patriotic light displays, spanning the 5.5 miles of this drive-through event. Some displays are 40 ft. high while others range from the small to the large, grand finale 500 foot long tunnel of lights. Wow! Before the light show, dinner will be on your own in Belton, where you can choose from The Gin, Coronas De Oro, Scores Pub & Bar and Nolan’s Winery.
