Felting

Are you considering moving to Sun City in Georgetown, TX, and wondering what activities might interest you? If you love colorful natural fibers and sculpting shapes, this might be the place for you. Members turn wool and other fibers into felt--either with a needle or with soap and water. Our emphasis is on fun and creativity. All levels of felters work on individual needle-felted or wet-felted projects that range from sculptures to garments. Quarterly group projects and outside teachers help us learn new techniques.
