NEW CYCLE AND SOAK GUIDELINES
NEW TEMPERATURE BASED WATERING SCHEDULES
Hello all, the Water Matters Leadership Team has developed new "Cycle and Soak Guidelines" (SCG) to be used when your residents turn on their irrigation systems for 2024.
Please note that SCGs are designed to produce one (1) inch of water on a weekly basis at a 100% seasonal adjustment. Also note that the Team has given you and the resident three (3) "cycle variations" to be used on the assigned watering days: 2, 4 & 6 times.
The Soil temperatures and moisture levels are at the precise level to turn on all systems in Sun City. The forecast is for a rainy start of next week, with projected ½ to ¾ of an inch total. If this occurs, we can postpone the system start for another week.

This new schedule is based on average weekly sustained daytime high temperatures. This new schedule will take the place of the old "schedules" that have been given to the residents,
