Collecting Toiletries for Holiday Meals Delivered
Now accepting donations of toiletries for distribution in the annual Holiday Meals Delivered Program (HMD) which directly benefits over 200 needy families in the Georgetown area, as well as providing supplies to Helping Hands and Caring Place pantry recipients.
Now is the time to complete your shopping and turn in your items. Your donations of standard-sized: bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and disposable razors will go a long way to make the season bright.
A few things to remember:
- No XL-sized items - they do not fit in the delivery bags
- Shampoo NO LARGER THAN 16 Oz. please
- No makeup items, please
- New, unused Travel-size items are also appreciated for distribution to Helping Hands
Please drop off your donations to Pat Scheuer at 411 McKinney Falls Lane.
Just leave them on the front porch between now and November 12. We will bag the items at our WHO meeting on November 15 and they will be included in the Holiday gift bags delivery on Christmas Day.
