BECOMING A SUN CITY SASSY LADY

The Sun City Sassy Ladies are a Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Sun City Live! Chartered Club (SCL!). Membership in the organization is open to any resident of Sun City, Texas. There are no prerequisites to join. Come find out if this is your kind of fun.

All of our classes are in the Atrium at the Activities Center across the street from the Social Center.

Beginner practice class is currently held on Tuesdays from 8:30 am (doors open at 8:15) to 9:20 am and Fridays from 9:45 am (doors open at 9:30) to 10:45 am.

Performance practice class is currently held on Tuesdays from 9:30 am - 10:20 am.

General practice class is currently held on Tuesdays from 10:30 am - 11:20 am and Fridays from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

All members are welcome at all classes.

To join the Sassy Ladies:

1. DUES: $12 annually, paid to SCL! Club.

Dues are paid directly to the Sun City Texas Community Association (SCTXCA).
Dues must be paid by the end of the 3rd week of practice sessions.

2. VIMEO ACCESS: After dues are paid, all members have access to Vimeo.

Vimeo is a website where all of our dances are recorded for practicing on your own time in your home.
This is a valuable tool and you are encouraged to use it.

3. COSTUME PURCHASE: After dues are paid and the member has participated in class for one (1) month, they will be required to purchase the Sassy Ladies Costume Performance pieces.

Performing is not a requirement, however, each Sassy Lady must purchase our Sassy Ladies top.
Individuals are responsible for the cost of their own costume pieces.
Current costume pieces run approximately $100, which is subject to change due to when pieces are ordered.
Additional pieces may be added (at the expense of each Sassy Lady) throughout the year for various performances.
The majority of pieces will be ordered by the instructor.
Payment is required when costume pieces are distributed.
