WHO's Meals on Wheels Fundraiser 2024 - May 21

- Cover Charge: $10 Per Person (All Cover Charges and additional donations go to Opportunities, Meals on Wheels and matched by St. David's Foundation.
- Full menu and drinks will be available to purchase. Note: Nels Johnson/Mulligan's has donated the use of Mulligan's including the patio for this fundraiser.
- Benefits: Sun City and Georgetown Clients Served by Opportunities/Meals on Wheels, Madella Hilliard Senior Center in Georgetown (Fundraiser exclusive for this Center).
- Goal is $50,000 plus $50,000 matched by St. David's Foundation for a total of $100,000.

REASONS WHO CONTINUES TO SPONSOR THE ANNUAL WHO/MEALS ON WHEELS FUNDRAISER
1. Fundraiser started in 2012 and was grandfathered in when WHO
became a Chartered Club in 2014. This is the only fundraiser that
was established to help Sun City Folks.
2. Neighborhood Representative Organization (NRO) has been
involved from the very beginning. Presently, this fundraiser is
the only fundraiser that is allowed to be promoted at the NRO
meeting.
3. WHO/Opportunities Alliance and Partnership – Opportunities
has generously provided WHO printing privileges that enable
WHO to provide its members with a New Member's Package.
WHO would not be able to provide this package to its
membership without Opportunities support.
4. WHO is recognized by St. David's Foundation because of this
partnership. They have donated matching funds over the years
from $10,000 to $50,000. This is a Third-Party Fundraiser and
WHO can raise a large amount because of the St. David's
matching funds.
5. This fundraiser helps feed between 400-500 seniors each year.
The cost to feed one senior for a year is $2,080. $100,000 feeds
48 seniors for one year.
