Members of the Veterans Memorial Advisory Group lower and raise the flags at the Welcome Station while Pulte staff does the same for the flags in front of the sales center.

  • Flag Day – June 14
  • Father's Day – third Sunday in June
  • Independence Day – July 4
  • Korean War Veterans Armistice Day – July 27 
  • Labor Day – first Monday in September
  • Patriot Day – September 11 
  • Constitution Day – September 17
  • POW/MIA Recognition Day - third Friday in September
  • Gold Star Mother's Day – last Sunday in September
  • Columbus Day – second Monday in October
  • Navy Day – October 27
  • Veteran's Day – November 11
  • Thanksgiving Day - fourth Thursday in November
  • Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day – December 7

Flying the U.S. Flag at half-staff is an honored tradition which is a mark of respect. The National Flag Foundation recommends adhering to the flag code by lowering flags to half-staff on the following days:

  • Peace Officers Memorial Day, May 15, (sunrise to sunset)
  • Memorial Day, last Monday in May, (sunrise to noon)
  • Patriot Day, September 11, (sunrise to sunset)
  • National Firefighters Memorial Day, October (Sunday of Fire Prevention Week sunrise to sunset)
  • Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, December 7, (sunrise to sunset)
