code of conduct

Expectations for our community:

·       Treat others with respect:

·       Our "Giraffe" move is a courteous, visual request for Silent Strings and Voices. Please be aware of others who are trying to hear the Song Leader.

·       The group is organized and run by Volunteers who are here to help.

·       Group Leaders are your neighbors who are freely sharing their skills.

·       We are all learning something new.

·       Do your best:

·       Show up with a smile and a can-do attitude.

·       Be prepared: arrive on time, tune up your ukulele before you arrive, Print or Download music.

·       Practice a little on your own: play along with tutorials, try the tips on our website, join a Small Group to keep you motivated and inspired.

·       Share your gifts and talents to improve Upbeat Ukulele Troupe.

·       Be nice:

·       Positive vibes ripple outward. Unfortunately, negative energy does too.

·       Rude, angry, or mean-spirited attitudes affect everybody in the room and will not be tolerated.

·       If derogatory behavior is directed toward an individual, or toward the group itself, that member will be asked to leave.

Ukulele time is a laid-back, low-key hour of "Don't Worry, be Happy."
