Wildfires, Embers and Houses
FREE Home Ignition Zone Evaluation

No house is fire proof! To help residents determine what they can reasonably do to reduce the opportunities for wildfire embers to ignite their home, the Firewise Group provides a FREE Home Ignition Zone (HIZ) Evaluation service.

Native Area Mowing Update
Submitted by Carlton Mathis, Common Area & Irrigation Superintendent,

All neighborhoods along Cool Springs have been mowed, with only those neighborhoods along Pedernales and Rocky Hollow remaining. Although the majority of this process can be handled by our mowers, there are some areas that are less accommodating and will need to be handled with line trimmers. The Line Trimmers can be up to 2 weeks behind the mowers. All cuttings will be left where they fall. This is a Fire Wise exercise only, and not for aesthetic, or any other purpose.

MOWING REMAINING in Phase 2 Neighborhoods:
54, 56, 59, 58, 57, 55, 52, 51, 50, 49, 64, 48
