City Texas is 20 – what an age! We’ve grown so much over the past two
decades, and though we’ve emerged from our teens a little wiser there is
still much to learn in the years ahead. As we reflect on this time, we
can’t help but wonder: where were you at 20? Were you in college or in
uniform? Were you starting a career or starting a band? Were you living
with your parents or were you already a parent yourself?
Send us the
story of your 20th year and it may run in the April issue of Sun Rays.
Photographs are highly encouraged. The deadline is Monday, February 29,
so don’t wait! Send your story to [email protected] today! ____________________________ February Watering Submitted by Carlton Mathis, Water Area Manager, [email protected]
Well, it’s definitely been drier than anticipated this year. Given the absence of rain recently, and in the near future, it may be time to consider running sprinkler systems. Soil moisture depletion is getting close to 1/10 of an inch per day in full sun areas. Setting the irrigation controllers to a one day a week watering schedule, or simply adjusting the water budget between 25-50%, would compensate for this. Watering any more could lead to fungus and molds in the landscape with the cooler temperatures.
The Water Matters Team is available to help familiarize you with your irrigation system. If you need help setting up your controller, or would like a complete and thorough evaluation of your irrigation system, send an email to [email protected] or contact your Neighborhood Representative. A Water Matters Ambassador will come to your home to assist you. ____________________________ Work Scheduled To Begin in Queen Tract This WeekThe Developer will begin the installation of a wastewater line behind neighborhood 13 this week. The work will be in close proximity to Rio Concho Cove and will support the new Queen tract amenity center and homes. |
