Friendly Reminders

Submitted by Jim Romine, Executive Director, [email protected]

1. With fall soon to be upon us, please remember to properly dispose of your leaves and do not blow leaves in the drainage openings or into your neighbors' yards.

2. We are still seeing grandchildren driving golf carts in our community. Please remember, you must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on public roads. Please see Page 19 of the Resource Guide and Directory.

3. While the Developer is currently building a new path that golf carts will be allowed to use, all other trails and sidewalks in Sun City are off limits to Golf carts except those associated with our golf courses.

4. When parking your golf cart in a regular car parking spot, please remember to follow the rules outlined on Page 19 of the Resource Guide and Directory and leave room for a second cart.

5. Remember, with the lack of rainfall our common areas are very dry, so, if you are a smoker, please properly dispose of your butts!

6. A boat, trailer, camper or RV may be parked temporarily on the owners driveway for a total period of time not to exceed 24 hours within any seven day period, providing such vehicle weighs less than 10,000 pounds.

SH 195 Detour from
Ronald Reagan Blvd.

There is a detour from Ronald Reagan Boulevard to new lanes of SH 195. The detour started out this week poorly marked, but new signs are going up daily and it is improving.

The detour began Monday, August 10, shifting the two-way traffic off of the existing SH 195 and onto the new northbound lanes. This occurs from just south of the new Ronald Reagan underpass bridge for approximately two miles.

To avoid the detour, use Sun City Boulevard to access SH 195. This detour will be in effect until at least the first of next year.

Drive carefully!
