Hari still delivers mail to Neighborhood
5 and provides service with a smile. You
might catch a glimpse of him, scanner
in hand, tucking a few envelopes into a
mailbox or driving that great white square
of a mail truck. Hari knows more people
now, enjoys his work and the fellowship of
the residents of Sun City Texas. “I am much
closer to the community after my birthday,”
Hari said. “Now I ask what more can I do
for them. What do they need? How can I
help? I always want to know what myself
or the United States Postal Service can do
for them. That’s my dream.”

Hari continues his mission to help others while providing service with a smile.

ROOSTER ON THE RUN

This Plymouth Rock rooster
appeared at Legacy Hills
Park in June and developed
a reputation for being a little
temperamental around people.
Facilities Maintenance Manager
Mac McGuire came to the
rescue by capturing the bird
and relocating it to a farm in
Taylor, where it will live out the
rest of its days surrounded by
a harem of hens.
