welcome to play with us. Members play
at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday
during the summer months and at 1
p.m. when the weather is colder.
Our club dues are only $12. Bocce
balls and yardsticks are available in
the small bin next to the club shed
for guests to use. The game of bocce
is a great way to participate in a little
friendly competition and meet some
of your fellow Sun City residents. We
invite those who have not tried it to
come out and test your skills.
Our only high point scorer for this
month was Larry Hunting with a
5-point frame. Congratulations, Larry!

Bocce Fact of the Month: Our
equipment consists of nine balls. The
smallest of these is called the pallino. It
is rolled onto the court at the start of each
frame and acts as the target. A set of four
larger bocce balls, each weighing about
two pounds, is rolled by each team in an
effort to get them as close to the pallino
as possible. The scoring rules are posted
on the bulletin board near the courts.

The purpose of the club is to bring together
automotive enthusiasts and lovers of the
Chevrolet Corvette and offer opportunities
to share their common interest.
Membership is not limited to Corvette
owners and is open to any Sun City
resident with an interest in current and
classic cars, automotive history or the
automotive community.

Country Western Dance

country western dancing in the ballroom.
