The Poker Club held a Texas Hold’em
No Limit tournament on October 11
with 40 members participating in the

native watershed. Wax myrtle and two
strategically planted oak trees provide
privacy and shade for the back patio,
making it the perfect spot to watch
the wildlife that is at home along the
creekbed. A charming metal butter-
fly adds a bit of whimsy to the area.
Out front the design turns more for-
mal. Chopped limestone block swirls
across this space separating planted
beds from areas of grass and rock. Your
eyes are drawn to a circle of deep black
rock, a wispy dessert willow and beds
of butterfly weed, yellow lantana and
pale blue gregg’s mistflower. Real but-
