Expansion Task Force Town Hall CA NEWS

The Expansion Task Force will host a town hall on Friday, Oct.
7 at 9 a.m. in the Social Center Ballroom. The purpose of the
town hall will be to share the current plans for the expansion
as well as the status of the existing amenity projects to date.
This meeting will air live on Channel 18 and will be available
on the website following the meeting.
Wildlife Committee Town Hall:
Whitetail deer management
Wednesday, Oct. 19, 9:30 a.m., SCB
The Sun City Texas Wildlife
Management Committee will
host an additional town hall
meeting this year to discuss
whitetail deer management
within our community. We
will discuss the procedures
we use in the whitetail
deer management program.
Included will be the recent
census results and what the
community can expect for the
upcoming capture process.

Texas Wildlife Biologist, will
discuss the deer management program. Paul Ohlenbusch,
Vegetation Management, will provide a brief history of the
whitetail deer management in our community.
Attendees at the meeting are encouraged to ask questions
regarding wildlife management issues within Sun City Texas.

“Let’s Talk Trash” Town Hall
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 9-11 a.m., SCB
Submitted by the NRO Sun City Recycles Committee
Discover tips for effective recycling at the curb, Community
Association facilities, City of Georgetown recycling facilities
and demystify the handling of hazardous wastes in your
home at the “Let’s Talk Trash” Town Hall. This event
includes presentations by the Sun City Texas Community
Association, the City of Georgetown, the Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality and Williamson County Recycle
Center (Household Hazardous Waste - HHW). Enjoy donuts,
coffee and door prizes and leave with a better understanding of
how you can help keep Sun City Texas the premier community
of its kind.
