On August 13 the Sun City
Georgettes presented Sun City’s
Got Talent! in the Social Center
Ballroom. Marian Phillippi, the
show’s director, and Cathy
Francis, the producer, continued
their track record of creating sell-
out shows. Hank Ziegler and T.
Grillo were excellent masters of
ceremonies.
Audience applause determined
the first, second, and third place
winners – Mark Larson, first
place; Happy Feet Cloggers,
second place; Peggy and Ron
Scarborough, third place.
The Georgettes ended the
show with an energetic, crowd-
pleasing, rocking dance routine
to the song Shake It Off.

Dancing to Little White Church by Little Big Town,
the Happy Feet Cloggers wowed the audience and
took second place with their precise dance steps,
colorful vintage 1940s church dresses and fancy
hats.
