NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES QUALIFIERS
Bill Turpin and John Houser have dominated the Texas Senior Games (TSG) in the table tennis events in their 80-84 and
85-89 age groups since 2008. Bill Turpin qualified for his fifth National Senior Games (NSG) by winning silver and gold
medals in table tennis singles and doubles events at the TSG in San Antonio in April. John Houser qualified for his 11th
NSG by winning table tennis gold medals in doubles and mixed doubles and a bronze medal in singles. John also won 2
gold medals in shuffleboard.
Ann Nelson and John Houser won a bronze medal in table tennis mixed doubles at the 2011 NSG held in Houston. Also, Bill
Turpin and John Houser won the silver medal in table tennis doubles at the 2015 NSG held in Minneapolis.
Bill and John hope to continue to represent Sun City Texas at these senior games.
