Margaret Larson Recently, the Quilting SIG of the Fabric & Fiber Club gathered
to make quilts for the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy
Center. Quilts are also stitched for the Women’s Trauma
Recovery Center in Temple, Texas. The program provides
residential treatment for female veterans who are victims of
sexual trauma.

DAYTRIPPER VISITS SUN CITY
Chet Garner, host of the Emmy-award winning show “The Daytripper,” visited
Sun City to speak about the joy of traveling in Texas. Residents were treated
to Rudy’s bar-b-cue sandwiches and got a sneak peek of an unreleased epi-
sode of a visit to San Angelo, TX.
