NATURE CLUB ASTRONOMY SIG FALL STAR PARTY
Over 100 Sun City residents attended the Nature Club Fall Star Party at the Cowan Creek Park Pavilion. The Astronomy SIG
had special binoculars and a variety of telescopes that allowed attendees to enjoy observing the stars, nebulae, galaxies
and the moon. The picture above, taken by David Ault during the Star Party shows the Pleiades (Seven Sisters) and the
California Nebula (in red) in rich star fields. Watch for future star parties at Sun City.
