“Costa Rica - Solar Electricity for the De-
veloping World,” Nov. 20, 1 p.m. in the
Atrium, featuring Alice Gardiner, a 15-
year resident of Sun City Texas. High-
lights: Living in a bamboo tree house in
one of Costa Rica’s most undisturbed re-
gions while attending a solar workshop;
creating power from solar panels and
simple LED bulbs to supply light for lo-
cal families; experiencing the waterfalls,
clear rivers and mountains of the area.
