   Submitted by the Firewise Group
At this year’s Town Hall, we will be highlighting Fire
Prevention Week. The Texas A&M Forest Service will
lead us off with an update on what is going on with
Firewise in Texas and across the nation, after which the
Georgetown Fire Department will key in on our theme,
“Hear the BEEP where you SLEEP.”
The major topic will be the influence of the Fire, Water,
and Wildlife Habitat Management Program and how it
has changed wildlife habitat to meet Firewise goals. Sun
City Texas’ Wildlife Biologist Warren Bluntzer will review
changes in the habitat and what they mean for wildlife. The
event will finish with a brief review of upcoming Firewise
   events and efforts.
Several Sun City Advisory Committees will have mem-
bers on hand to discuss their programs and answer
questions. Come learn more about making Sun City a
   safer place!

I am here. What can I do?
