nance systems.
Sun City Blues
Blues music has been the foundation and
a strong influence of all American mu-
sic styles since the early 1900s. Come be
part of the ‘Just the Blues’ group. There
will be dances, dance lessons, and trips
to Austin Blues clubs. The next Blues
dance will be onWednesday, August 6 in

Our club doesn’t hold regular meetings
during the summer months; however, we
continue accepting donations of clean, used
clothing and shoes for the Shriners Chil-
dren’s Burn Hospital in Galveston. These
children and their families often have no
clothes as a result of a house fire that caused
the child’s injuries. Contact Ray DeVries at

Sun City Texas Rotary
Tuesdays, CCF/G, Noon

Rotary International has identified specific
areas of need in which to focus, with the
awareness that each community has its own
unique concerns. Rotary clubs focus their
service efforts in diverse areas, such as:
promoting peace, fighting disease, providing
clean water, saving mothers and children,
supporting education, and growing local
economies. As an example of local involve-
ment, thismonth our clubwill host a dinner
dance and raffle with proceeds benefitting
Williamson County youth.
