Meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a meet
and greet period followed by dinner at
6:30 p.m. The program commences at
7 p.m. and features Senator Charles
Schwertner who will discuss issues be-
ing addressed by the Texas Legislature.
There is a $16 per person fee for the din-
ner, if you wish to eat. A check payable
to “Republican Club of Sun City” must
be mailed no later than February 15 to

Shuffleboard
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10 a.m.
We have two shuffleboard courts located at
the far end of the bocce courts. Equipment
and rules are in the small shed just beside
the courts. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-
11:30 a.m., are designated Social Time
when many play, guaranteeing friendly
competition. However, courts are available
everyday for residents. Free lessons will
be provided in the near future. For infor-
mation, contact Richard Bradley or Tom

Sky Girls
We are a group of retired stewardesses,
better known today as flight attendants,
who meet monthly in the home of one of
our members. Our meetings are held the
first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m.
We are strictly social, and have discovered
we have endless experiences to share and

has been presented with the Club Build-
er Award for 2012-2013 by the district
governor. His effort in building the club’s
membership, training other Rotarians,
