PERK Winner – Sue Bailey
Just in time to become our December
winner, Sue Bailey returned from
the late November trip to Galveston,
popped her card in the box, and her
name was drawn! Due to work sched-
ules, Sue said they are not able to participate in as many out-
ings as they would like, but they always enjoy the ones they go
on – particularly the overnight trips which she added are so
well planned. Kudos to the volunteer trip planners and excel-
lent bus drivers, especially Dan. She reported that everything
about Galveston was enjoyable with the Moody Gardens and
Dickens as highlights. Congratulations, Sue!
Activities with Jenny
Our Social Center is a busy venue with clubs,
seminars, events, dances and neighborhood
meetings. With all these events, parking
can be a challenge. Please remember for CA
sponsored bus outings that we ask that you
park in the parking spaces along Texas Drive
unless you need to park in the handicapped
parking spaces closer to the Social Center. Your volunteer trip
planners will have the bus driver make two stops when the
bus returns from your outing: the first stop will be near Texas
Drive parking spaces to allow residents to unload closer to their
cars and the second stop will be at the circle drive for residents
parked in handicapped spaces. Thank you for doing your part
to help alleviate cramped parking for those who are in and
out of the Social Center while you are away on your outing!
