CAN-DO CRAFTERS
Sisters and residents Judy Perryman and Karen Breeckner (above
right) organized an annual get-together for the ladies of their
two neighborhoods, N31 and N60, on November 14 at the Oaks.
They all ate homemade tortilla soup and Judy’s famous butter
pecan cake, and then created can carolers as holiday decora-
tions. Last year, they created wine bottle Santas. “Our mother
was extremely creative and instilled that in us,” Judy said. “It
was so much fun to see the ladies get into it.”
THANK YOU, SHRINERS
A special thanks to the Sun City Shrine Club for their continued
support and dedication with the installation of the holiday
decorations. This annual program not only beautifies our
entries, bridges and Greeter Station, but raises money for the
Shriners Children’s Hospitals. In the spirit of being “green”, the
Shriner’s have converted all lights to LED’s. Thank You!
