New Neighbor Round Up
Registration Required

Friday, Mar. 9
9 – 11 a.m.
Social Center Ballroom
2 Texas Drive

The New Neighbor Round Up is an orientation to the Sun City Texas Lifestyle for new residents. It consists of short presentations that offer a closer look at what it means to live in our community, things to do inside and outside of Sun City, and explains the importance of our governance system and resident volunteerism. Your assigned table will be hosted by a long-time Sun City resident who can answer many of your questions in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The program is presented by the Sun City Texas Neighborhood Rep Organization (NRO) and takes place each quarter.

Registration is required so we know how many tables to setup. Click Here to register.
Time to Apply for an Advisory Committee
You have just 2 weeks to submit your application!
There is still time to apply for an Advisory Committee by March 9. Bring your experience and volunteerism to serve on these Committees. Help keep Sun City a great place to live.

Consider applying for a committee soon. Applications are due by March 9 online or at the Members Services Office by 4 p.m.

Click Here for current committee openings and information about the application process.

These Committees (and others) have openings:

Emergency Management
Members help develop and implement Sun City emergency procedures. They conduct town halls and emergency exercises to educate and train residents. A background in the medical field, emergency/safety procedures, fire safety, and law enforcement or communications is helpful to this Committee.

Finance Committee
Committee members make recommendations to the CA Board regarding all Sun City financial concerns such as each year’s budget, homeowner association dues, insurance, reserves and investments. Its members may have experience in banking budgeting, insurance, financial controls, auditing and general business practices.

Modifications
Members review applications of homeowners and the Committee is authorized to approve or reject modifications of residential lots and the exterior of its structures to ensure compliance with the Design Guidelines and the CC&Rs. The Committee may amend the Design Guidelines subject to Board approval.

To dispose of sharps and syringes place in a hard plastic container and use tape to securely seal it. Label the container and place in the trash.

IMPORTANT: Prescription drugs are not medical waste and should not be thrown in the trash. Please save those for the Prescription Drug Take Back event on April 28. Click Here for more information.
