Resident Call for Submissions: 20 Years Where were you at 20?Sun
City Texas is 20 – what an age! We’ve grown so much over the past two
decades, and though we’ve emerged from our teens a little wiser there is
still much to learn in the years ahead. As we reflect on this time, we
can’t help but wonder: where were you at 20? Were you in college or in
uniform? Were you starting a career or starting a band? Were you living
with your parents or were you already a parent yourself?
Send us the
story of your 20th year and it may run in the April issue of Sun Rays.
Photographs are highly encouraged. The deadline is Monday, February 29,
so don’t wait! Send your story to [email protected] today! ____________________________ Political Sign Rules Submitted by Carl Zimmerman, Community Standards Director
According to the Community's Political Signs Policy, political signs for local, state, and federal elections may not be displayed on CA property except that one person-held sign may be displayed outside of a CA facility when the facility is being used as a polling place. Residents may display political signs on their lot for a candidate (one per office) or ballot item on an upcoming election ballot from 90-days before an election until 10-days after an election. These signs must be ground-mounted and are limited to a total size of 24 square feet and must be no taller than 6 feet. Political signs for the upcoming March 1st primary election may be displayed from Wednesday, December 2, 2015 until March 11, 2016. Please contact Carl Zimmerman at 512-948-7461 or [email protected] with your questions about Sun City’s common area rules. ____________________________

When we last distributed cart path rules for the NEW cart path connecting neighborhood 59 with Sun City Blvd., some residents understood those rules to apply to all cart paths in Sun City Texas, which is not the case. We apologize for that confusion.
No pedestrians are allowed to walk the golf course cart paths. They are, however, allowed to walk the new cart path connecting Neighborhood 59 to Sun City Blvd.
