 FAQ’s for COVID-19 Vaccine
Why is Family Hospital Systems (FHS) moving to a new location and not giving vaccines in the SCB?
This decision has been made to be able to administer a greater number of vaccinations and better adhere to recommended social distancing guidelines. This new location has not yet been announced, however, FHS currently intends to maintain a presence in north-central Williamson County.

Will FHS return to Sun City Social Center Ballroom (SCB) to administer the second vaccine since I received my first vaccine in the SCB?
At this time we don’t know. We are waiting for FHS to provide us with that answer. As soon as they provide us with the answer then we will communicate it to the community. You will be able to get your second vaccine on your appointment date, the location is still undecided by FHS.

My spouse and I share an email address, I am worried that if we share an email address that after one of us gets an appointment the other one will be deleted from the waitlist?
FHS has confirmed that this is not true. Multiple people can have the same email address and each person will receive their appointment.

What number am I on the waitlist?
That information is managed and maintained by FHS.

What happens to the Sun City waitlist when FHS leaves Sun City?
FHS will combine the waitlists and work off one large waitlist. They have the timestamps of when people signed on the waitlist.

Push a Button: The life you save may be yours
When pedestrians approach one of the crosswalks, they can push a button to activate the flashing lights. The lights will flash for approximately 60 seconds to alert drivers that pedestrians are present. State law requires drivers to stop at a marked crosswalk when pedestrians are present. Vehicles must yield to pedestrians in a marked crosswalk, even when a flashing light is not present or activated.

  • All dogs must be controlled so as not to interfere with or pose a threat to any person or other animal, whether wild or domestic.
  • No pets will be allowed to roam free in common or residential areas.
  • The person handling a dog on Common Area open space must immediately remove and properly dispose of that dog’s feces, including from nature trail areas.
Sidewalks, Walking Paths and Nature Trails

Paragraph C of Section VII of the Community Association Rules and Regulations prohibits all wheeled vehicles, including but not limited to golf carts, bicycles, skateboards and motorized vehicles, from all sidewalks, walking paths and nature trails. Wildlife Management

While Sun City is within the city limits of Georgetown, our community is, for the most part, surrounded to the northwest and east by open woodlands and prairies. This means that Sun City is home to abundant wildlife native to these areas. It is the policy of the Community Association that the wildlife living in Sun City is an integral part of our lifestyle. Our goal is for us to live in harmony with our wildlife. Living in harmony means living in balance. Living in balance requires management of some of our wildlife species.
Sun City Texas CC&R states trapping or killing wildlife is prohibited:
  • Section 8.3 of the community's Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) prohibits residents from feeding wildlife in the community other than birds. Additionally, Paragraph 2.1. (e) of Exhibit C of the CC&Rs prohibits capturing, trapping, killing or feeding wildlife including, but not limited to deer, feral pigs, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, reptiles and rabbits.
If you need help with removal of a dead or annoying or destructive animal from your property, there are private companies that you can contact by searching online for "animal removal Georgetown Texas".

Please carry a mask for those times when you are not able to keep six feet of physical distance between you and people that are not in your household. This is especially important to remember when jogging or walking the hiking trails, golf cart paths, sidewalks and when outside with others in potentially close proximity.
