Sun City Texas Aggie Muster
Sun City Aggies, with their families and
other friends of Texas A&M, will assem-
ble on Sunday, April 21 at the Cowan
Creek Amenity Center in recognition of
the “Aggie Muster,” one of A&Ms most
cherished traditions.
A social hour begins at 6 p.m. Those
attending are requested to bring hors
d’oevres for 6 – 8 to share. Beverages
will be provided. The Muster ceremony
will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a fee
of $5 per person.

March Madness Mixer
Wednesday, March 27, 5 - 7:30 p.m.,

BYOB and a dish to share. Plates, nap-
kins, glasses, etc., will be provided.
Activities include Wisconsin Bingo, a
Cheese Quiz and a musical competition
from the Mustard Museum Archives in
Wisconsin (POUPON U).

Sage in Bloom Questers
Sage in Bloom Questers chapter invites
you to visit us to help preserve histori-
cal landmarks and learnmore about U.S.
history. We enjoy trips to places such as
the Czech Museum in Temple, speakers
about collections (not necessarily antiques)
and history such as “Texas Outlaws.” We
meet the first Tuesday of themonth (not in

Shuffleboard
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10 a.m.
Shuffleboard courts are open everyday
for all residents, weather permitting. On
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11:30 a.m.,
a Shuffleboard Committee member will
be at the courts to provide assistance and
instruction if needed. Cues (sticks), discs,
and silicone spray are in the courtside stor-
age shed. For more information, contact

Sky Girls
We are a group of retired stewardesses,
better known today as flight attendants,
who meet monthly in the home of one of
our members. Our meetings are held the
first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m.
We are strictly social, and have discovered
we have endless experiences to share and

Mr. Al Armendariz, former regional EPA
administrator, will speak on “Beyond
Coal,” a campaign to replace dirty coal
with clean energy. He will discuss air
pollution in Texas and the needs to re-
tire old and outdated coal plants and
prevent the building of new coal plants.
He is the Sierra Club’s senior campaign
representative for the statewide Beyond
Coal Campaign. As always, the meeting
is free and the public is cordially invited
to attend.
