Sandy Althaus told us of the B-24 Liberator "Heaven Can Wait" that was shot down over Hansa Bay, Papua New Guinea during WWII. The story is inspiring, describing her late uncles service during WWII, the Navy's experimental diving unit's recovery of crew remains and keeping the promise of no one will be left behind.

The Aviation Club celebrated the season at our Christmas Brunch 16 Dec 2023. Over 100 members and guests enjoyed great food, fellowship, and many flying tales!
